Bring Your Dog to Training

Enjoy A Unique Opportunity

One of the most exciting benefits of enrolling in our program is the opportunity to bring your own dog along for the journey. At Ridgeside K9, we understand the value of hands-on learning, not just with the variety of dogs we provide but also with your own canine companion.

Your Best Friend Is Welcome Too!!

Learn how you can make the most of this opportunity.

By integrating your own dog into your training journey at Ridgeside K9, you not only enhance your learning experience but also strengthen the bond between you and your dog. This hands-on approach ensures that you leave our program not just as a skilled dog trainer, but also with a deeper, more harmonious relationship with your own canine companion.

Personal Companion Training

Students are welcome to bring one dog with them for the duration of their training program. In certain cases, we may allow a second dog, but this is evaluated on an individual basis to ensure the best learning environment for you and your fellow students.

Canine Participant Requirements

To maintain a safe and effective training environment, dogs brought by students should be non-aggressive and younger than six years old. This ensures that all participants, both human and canine, can enjoy a productive and safe learning experience.

Special Consideration

If your dog exhibits aggressive behavior or is older than six years, please reach out to us prior to enrollment. We will conduct an evaluation to determine if your dog is suitable for inclusion in your training experience. While our program is capable of addressing and correcting aggressive behaviors, the initial focus for students is on mastering training techniques with dogs that facilitate rather than hinder initial learning progress.

Tailored Training for Aggression

Should you enroll in our comprehensive 12-week program and your dog is deemed suitable, you will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to work with your aggressive dog as the program progresses. This allows for a focused learning curve, ensuring that by the end of your training, you are well-prepared to address more challenging behaviors effectively.
